Award-winning designer. Startup enthusiast with a product management background. Passionate about productivity, the future of work, and crafting authentic products.
Vlad started designing at 12 as a freelancer. Years before he had the vocabulary to call it a career.
That early obsession with craft shaped everything that followed. And design sensibility runs through everything he's built. He appreciates design as a system: how visual hierarchy directs attention, how interaction patterns shape user confidence, how small decisions in a component cascade across an entire product. It's what drew him to design tooling.
Career-wise: Lead Product Designer at Preply, Tier 1 winner of Telegram's official UI design contest, co-founder of Numo (350,000+ users). His work lives on Dribbble and Figma Community. He writes about design tools and the AI design space here on the Banani blog.
In 2024, Vlad co-founded Banani with Vova Parkhomchuk, combining deep design craft with strong technical foundations to build the tool both had always wished existed. Today Banani is used by 200,000+ people to generate professional UI without needing a designer on staff.
His work and thinking have attracted angels including the first designer at WhatsApp and Canva alumni. Banani was selected by the EU-backed Seeds of Bravery accelerator and featured on the Product Talk podcast with Teresa Torres, discussing the "gulf of specification" between visual thinking and AI.
